For everything from the wedding ceremony, to the
wedding reception and the evening function, the
Ashby Suite is the ideal venue. Offering natural
daylight and fully air-conditioned you couldn't
ask for a better facility.
We can also hold formal dinners, birthday and
anniversary parties, as well as Christmas
parties. The room can seat up to 120 people
without entertainment, and approximately 90
people with entertainment and a dance floor.
Our dedicated Events co-ordinator will be
delighted to advise and assist you with
everything you need to ensure that your wedding
or event runs without a hitch.

Our 95 guest
rooms feature bright and colourful design and decor.
All guest rooms have an en-suite bathroom and are
equipped with hair dryer, wireless internet access,
generous work area, direct dial telephone, safe,
complimentary tea and coffee facilities and
satellite TV including pay-per-view movies.
Guest rooms Are double or twin
bedded, with a number of fully accessible rooms.
Family Rooms Consisting of either
two twin beds or one double bed, with a sofa bed and
second pull-out bed – suitable for younger children
Interconnecting rooms also available and these are a
double connecting to a twin bedded room.
Location
The hotel is
perfectly located on the outskirts of Tamworth and
Burton upon Trent, midway between Birmingham and
Nottingham/Derby just off Junction 11 of the M42.

Just 2 miles from the hotel is Twycross Zoo, come
Monkey around with the one of Europe’s Largest
Primate collection and over a 1000 other animals,
about three quarters of the animals housed at
Twycross are officially classed as endangered
species.
Or maybe a full day at UK’s largest family owned
theme park, Drayton Manor, which is 10 miles from
the hotel, with rides like Shockwave, Stormforce and
the Apocalypse and for the younger members there is
Thomas Land, come and visit Thomas and all his
friends.
For the older generation and the kids too, there is
the Bosworth Battle Fields, which is10 miles from
the hotel. Bring the family and learn about the
battle of wills between King Richard III and Henry
Tudor, It’s a great day out for the whole family –
travel back in time and see the horror of medieval
battle
Conkers, which is 4 miles from the hotel, the award
winning attraction at The Heart of the National
Forest, a fantastic fun filled day of indoor and
outdoor experiences to keep the kids and parents
busy for hours. Just over five miles from our front
door
Leicester National Space Centre which is 20 miles
from the hotel is the UK's largest attraction
dedicated to space. See the Space Centre's
futuristic Rocket Tower, and enjoy hours of
breathtaking fun, home of the UK’s largest
planetarium. Get involved with and interactive
journey through 6 galleries, Enjoy the; Rocket
Tower, 3D S.I.M ride, 360 degree space theatre that
