kmkakes are based in the East Midlands and
have many years experience in the cake making business. The cakes are designed
and made individually to clients specifications using only the finest
ingredients available and preferably local!(all the eggs are free range from the
Anstey area, and all flour is organic. The butter cream is made using organic
butter.)
There are also a range of designer cookies
and kupkakes available, images of which are now available to view on site, these
are only an example of what's on offer, clients are always free to put their own
ideas forward. Browse the gallery pictures and when you see a cake you like,
simply email for a quote, stating size and flavour preference.
All cakes are available in vanilla sponge
with seedless raspberry jam and Madagascan vanilla butter-cream, or zesty lemon
with home made lemon curd and butter-cream and (of course!) chocolate. For
birthdays we use chocolate sponge with Belgian chocolate butter cream, the
wedding cakes are made with a much richer base cake and ganache filling .
All our cakes are delivered free within the
Leicester area. This includes setting up and stand hire on wedding cakes, though
a £100 deposit is payable on stands, refundable on return, in good order.
Cakes should be ordered with as much notice
as possible, wedding cakes at least 2 months in advance, this said we will
always endeavour to meet customers needs.
