The Monchelsea Duo was formed by Ben and Christel Stevens, who met while studying at the Royal College of Music in London. After falling in love, they soon married in 2008 and have recently relocated to the Midlands. Whilst based in London, the duo performed at many venues including;

• Leeds Castle

• Henley Royal Regatta

Currently, the duo performs at various events, weddings, and  parties throughout the year across the UK, offering a bespoke service to suit any occasion. Ben and Christel are passionate about fulfilling every client’s individual requirements and delivering the highest level of performance. When corresponding with the duo, you will be dealing directly with the two musicians, who can provide professional advice to any queries regarding musical scheduling, arrangements and repertoire with their years of experience.

A string duo creates a sophisticated and romantic ambience for you and your guests to enjoy, adding that special touch to your wedding day. As a duet we require relatively little space, yet musically filling a room of nearly any size. With the combined experience of hundreds of weddings, as well as organising our own civil ceremony here in the UK and a religious blessing in America, we understand the many aspects of wedding planning.
