Introduction

At Best Western Salford Hall, we understand that every wedding is individual. Our aim is to make your day as special and unique as you have always pictured it. With your own dedicated wedding coordinator and menus custom designed around you own ideas you can relax in the knowledge that our experienced team will ensure that everything runs smoothly during the planning and on the big day itself

The Ceremony

If you have decided on a Civil Ceremony then you and your fiancée should contact the Superintendent of Registrars at Warwick Registry Office. We have four rooms that are licensed. The Stanford Room for 80 guests, the Regent Room which, combined with the Arden Room can seat a maximum of 80 guests. The Conservatory for 60 provides an unusual venue  and finally the atmospheric Hawkesbury for the small intimate wedding.

The Reception

Marquee For the larger wedding a maximum of 130 guests may be catered for in our marquee if you require a sit down breakfast or 300 for a standing buffet, but on these occasions exclusive use of the hotel must be taken.

The Stanford Room features such characteristics as oak panelling, mullioned windows and an open fireplace. Seventy guests may use the Stanford Room.

The Regent Room, beautifully decorated with oak panelling and chandeliers to reflect its past history, offers you a room for a maximum of 50 guests. The room is fully air-conditioned with natural daylight from beautiful mullioned windows.

The Hawkesbury is a unique room reflecting the era of a past age catering for a maximum of 16 guests.

Exclusive Use

We feel this is the best way of experiencing Salford Hall. It includes the use of all the public rooms and gardens, 34 bedrooms that sleep a maximum of 66 guests and full English breakfast the following morning.

The 34 bedrooms are all different, each with its own individual charm and are situated in two buildings, the Main Hall and Tudor Court, a former coach house and granary, enclosing a garden.

Directions by road

From London , leave the M40 at Junction 15(Warwick) onto the A46 to Stratford which you will by pass, continue on the A46 towards Evesham until a roundabout directs you to Salford Priors, Abbots Salford and Harvington. Salford Hall is on the left about one and half miles from the roundabout.

From Bristol and the South-West, leave the M5 at Junction 9(Tewkesbury), follow the A46 round Evesham and towards Stratford, continue on the A46 towards Stratford until a roundabout directs you to Salford Priors, Abbots Salford and Harvington. Salford Hall is on the left about one and half miles from the roundabout.

From the North-West via M6 and North-East via the M1, join the M42 and leave at Junction 3. Take the A435 and join the A46 at the roundabout direction Evesham until a roundabout directs you to Salford Priors, Abbots Salford and Harvington. Salford Hall is on the left about one and half miles from the roundabout.

 

Local Places of Interest

 

The hotel is wonderfully situated for exploring the Cotswolds, immersing in the culture and charm of Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon, shopping until you drop or simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the hotel and surrounds.
 

Warwick Castle is open 364 days of the year and has a programme of events to keep young and old alike interested and occupied. For others there is the newly opened and highly acclaimed Compton Verney, which has numerous events and exhibitions throughout the year.
 

Take a drive through the Cotswolds and explore the many villages and enjoy the charm of thatched cottages, gardens and unique shopping in Broadway, Stow on the Wold or Moreton in the Marsh.

For the garden enthusiast there is a plethora of gardens including Hidcote, Spetchley Park and Nash’s House in the centre of Stratford upon Avon featuring the Elizabethan style knot garden.
