Introduction
Thrumpton Hall is the East Midland’s best kept
secret, a fabulously grand brick and stone Jacobean
mansion set apart from an enchanting old-fashioned
village by a long private drive. We pride ourselves
on offering you a flexible approach and warm
support, whatever the occasion you are planning to
hold.
Our team can advise you and show you how to make the
most of the house and grounds, but only a visit can
show you the magic of Thrumpton. This is a house
that everybody falls in love with. Balls and
weddings and dinners have been held at Thrumpton for
over 350 years and the house has kept its warm
spirit of hospitality to this day.
Best of all, despite being only 3 miles from the M1
and close to Nottingham, Derby and Leicester,
Thrumpton is as quiet as if you had stepped back in
time. Here, truly, is an oasis in a busy world, and
a perfect venue for your choice.
Tranquil and elegant, Thrumpton retains the magical
atmosphere of a private family home. Flexible and
friendly, the Thrumpton team are ready to help
advise you on how to make the most of it.
Thrumpton Hall is available throughout the year for
your special day. We guarantee that you will have
sole use of this glorious setting and a Jacobean
family home in which to hold your ceremony and
reception, or a magical walk up the Hall's private
drive from the village church.
Thrumpton offers the use of the Baronial Hall for
wedding ceremonies. Alternatively, couples can be
wed at the picturesque village church, situated 5
minutes walk from the house.
